Add an event

Seen a flyer, a poster or a chalkboard announcing something in Jersey City? Send a photo of it, or type what it says. We read it, you check it, a person approves it, and it is on the map within the hour.

JPEG, PNG, HEIC, WebP or a PDF, up to 10 MB. The picture is kept only as the flyer; where and when you took it is dropped.

Both work too: a picture plus a correction.

We use it to send you the link and to tell you when the event is live, or why it is not. It is never shown to anyone and is deleted 30 days after the event.

What happens next

1. An email brings you a link. 2. On that page you see what we read from the picture, each detail with the words it came from; you correct anything and confirm. 3. A person compares it with the flyer, usually within a day. 4. The event is on the map; you get one email with its page.

The map shows Jersey City only, and 31 days ahead; a flyer for later waits until its month. Events at private homes, support meetings and school events a school has not made public stay off the map.
